3. Kai Ku Hale
Kai Ku Hale is a shop on the North Shore overflowing with charming gifts, from big to small, from expensive to inexpensive ! With a powerful oceanic vibe, you’re guaranteed to find a souvenir that reminds you of your wonderful time spent on this vibrant island in the north Pacific. 4. Waialua Sugar Mill
If you’re ever on the North Shore and in dire need of a souvenir (or twenty), head on over to the Old Wailua Sugar Mill. Rather than just the stereotypical keychains, coasters, stickers, etc., this shop also boasts authentic Hawaiian goodies that would make excellent presents to pack in a suitcase. These include locally made chocolates and candies, handcrafted soaps and lotions, bags of fresh-roasted (on site!) coffee beans, as well as plenty of surf-themed items. 5. The Only Show in Town
You’ll find a vibrant marketplace with three incredible vendors situated between Turtle Bay Resort and the Kahukua Roadside Food Court. Ohana Island Creations is widely recognized for their imposing tiki carvings, but they have smaller items too if you’re looking to purchase something that is manageable to add in your suitcase. Full Fathom Five Sea Glass Emporium has marvelous sea glass art and jewelry available – it’s definitely worth browsing even if you don’t plan on buying anything! Although both these places are slightly more expensive than other stores, the quality of their merchandise makes them great options for souvenirs. If you’re looking for more unique souvenirs, though, head on over to The Only Show in Town. From intricate ceiling hangers to stunning glass float replicas, this store is sure to have what you’re looking for. They even carry vintage Hawaii license plates and t-shirts! The next time you find yourself on one of Hawaii’s wonderful islands, take some time to visit one of the many farmers markets for a memorable and unique souvenir.
