Na 'Aina Kai is a 240-acre living mosaic of diverse gardens, a hardwood plantation, a moss- and fern-draped canyon, a tranquil meadow and pristine sandy beach. More than 200 bronze sculptures grace the gardens and wild areas. In addition to the sculptures, you'll find a variety of garden styles including Japanese, Hawaiian, Chinese and European. Many of these gardens are planted in terraced areas to take advantage of the varied soil types and climate zones.
The grounds have several hiking trails that traverse through a lush tropical jungle filled with native Hawaiian plants and flowers. Along the trails, you'll find several waterfalls, streams and caves. The trails also lead to an observation tower that provides sweeping views of the garden and its many sculptures.
The sculpture gardens feature a wide array of bronze works ranging from simple human figures to complex abstract designs. Many of these works are interactive pieces that invite visitors to explore the history and culture of Hawaii. Other sculptures are designed to provide a sense of serenity, allowing visitors to relax and reflect in the beauty of Na 'Aina Kai's gardens.
